Ahead of their EP release, Dizzy share their new single “Sunflower, Are You There?”. With it’s sultry groove and placid guitar lines, the track effuses a hazy Sunday morning vibe with it’s dazzling sepia tones. Woven with hints of neo-soul, “Sunflower, Are You There?” features Kevin Garrett who brings harmonic tones to the single.
Dizzy’s forthcoming EP is released June 11th via Communion Records.
“I wanted to be completely honest about the things nobody ever wants to admit, like being jealous of your friends or pushing away the people who love you,” frontwoman Katie Munshaw says. “So instead of being about romantic heartbreak, it’s really about self-heartbreak.”
