Over these last few years, London-based singer-songwriter Judy Pearson has been slowly earning a reputation for warm and heartfelt compositions. Creating these beautifully rich and alluring soundscapes, she has cultivated a sound that perfectly suits her progressive songwriting to date. And with the buzz around her continuing to grow, she returns once again to deliver her tender new single ‘Remember Me’.
Adopting another heady dose of riveting folk-pop aesthetics for her newest release, ‘Remember Me’ sits as one of her more illuminating efforts to date. Inspired by the poignant historical quote written in a Flemish book of hours by King Henry VIII of England to Anne Boleyn, “If You Remember Me as Strongly As I Adore You, I Will Scarcely Be Forgotten, For I Am Yours Forever,” she finds herself in a truly passionate persona as she sweeps and swoons her way through this wondrous new delight.
Her tenure to date has certainly been a diverse and eclectic affair so far, but tracks like ‘Remember Me’ provide that essential moment of brevity that sets her apart from many of the other names doing the rounds right now. Offering up some wonderfully rich and shimmering textures as it plays, Judy Pearson continues to soar as one of the more exciting names on the rise today.
