The evening kicked off with “Neon Screen”, immediately setting the tone: Kassy danced joyfully across the stage, hitting every note with clarity and nuance, while Mile interjected with rhythmically varied rap sections, even lying on the floor mid-performance and joining the crowd at one point. The chemistry between the band was palpable, a fun and light dialogue of performance and presence that kept the room hooked. Around the venue, devoted fans sang along to every lyric, while casual pub-goers peered in from the doors, drawn by the trio’s magnetic performance.
Kassy’s vocals were a standout, displaying her larg vocal range with such ease that one could assume that she finds singing as effortless as the rest of us do breathing. Between songs, Mile expressed heartfelt thanks to the crowd, noting how meaningful it was for them to play London for the first time- a sentiment the audience reciprocated with cheers and applause.
From their early 2020 breakthrough with “Washed Up”, which topped Vienna’s FM4 charts, to sold-out European tours, Sharktank are dominating the indie scene.
