Singer-songwriter Patti Zlaket continues her remarkable return to music with the release of her latest single ‘Second Chance At Love’. The track arrives as the second preview of her upcoming album ‘Dance Again’, and features celebrated session bassist Lee Sklar, with production by Tariqh Akoni.
Written from the perspective of a rescue dog, ‘Second Chance At Love’ draws from her personal experience volunteering at animal shelters and her admiration for the emotional resilience of animals. Blending a warm arrangement with intimate vocals, the track carries a message of hope, compassion, and renewal, underscoring her gift for emotionally rich storytelling.
The new single follows a banner year for the Tucson-born artist, who returned to the spotlight in 2025 with a remastered reissue series and widespread acclaim for her comeback single ‘Clock Keeps Tickin”. ‘Dance Again’, her first full-length release in over a decade, was inspired in part by watching the Immediate Family documentary and reconnecting with the musicians who shaped her early years in music.
