Florence-based synthwave project Out Run makes a striking debut with their 12-track album Past Lives, anchored by the introspective and energetic title single. The project, led by singer-songwriter Ginevra Abbarchini and multi-instrumentalist Lawrence Fancelli, fuses 80s-inspired synth textures with modern production, crafting music that feels both timeless and emotionally immediate.
From their early singles, Monster and Hideaway, which collectively surpassed one million streams, Out Run has established themselves as a fresh voice in the indie-electronic scene. Past Lives expands on that promise, taking listeners on a cinematic journey through memory, loss, and personal reflection.
