My Life As Ali Thomas have shared the fiery music video for their latest single

The fast-rising trio, My Life As Ali Thomas, have shared the visuals for their latest single ‘RINN’.

‘RINN’ is moody, dynamic and full of soaring highs, it’s a captivating track. The accompanying music video shows the band in an array of visually stunning locations.

The band was formed in 2014 by frontwoman ‘Pie’ Kanyapak Wuttara, guitarist ‘Rack’ Wipata Lertpanya and drummer ‘Taw’ Wannaphong Jangbumrung.

Speaking about the track, Pie says: “The title ‘RINN’ has no story, no meaning. It is something we made up inspired by the song. We were asked once: why call it something that has no meaning, that isn’t even a word? This made things clear to us. There are so many restrictions – many of which we create for ourselves – in this world we’ve created, that at times it seems absurd. ‘RINN’ is a challenge to these restrictions; an anthem encouraging you to set your mind free, so that you can truly meet yourself”.

Based in Thailand, the genre-defying group first made a name for themselves when they released their debut album, Paper, back in 2016. Since then, the band has performed at festivals such as Big Mountain Festival, CAT Expo and Bangkok Music City. My Life As Ali Thomas made history in 2019 when they became the first Thai act to play at the renowned SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas.
