San Francisco artist Michellar returns with ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Mind’, offering the first glimpse into a psychedelic-inspired album planned for Spring next year.

Written by Michelle Bond and produced by Michael Beckheart, the track was created through a cross-country collaboration, with vocals recorded in California and production completed in Nashville. Drawing inspiration from the classic sounds of psychedelic rock, the pair spent time refining the arrangement to capture the immersive atmosphere they envisioned.

Lyrically, the single explores intrusive thoughts, longing and emotional fixation, transforming deeply personal experiences into an evocative musical journey. But rather than hiding those emotions, she embraces them, creating a dreamlike soundscape that balances vulnerability with vintage-inspired textures.

The release marks a significant creative step for the artist, reflecting a lifelong admiration for the psychedelic music that shaped her early years while introducing a fresh chapter in her own songwriting. As anticipation builds for the forthcoming full-length project, ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Mind’ offers an enticing preview of the direction Michellar is now pursuing.
