Last year, we were lucky enough to be asked to curate a gig for Sofar Sounds London.
If you don’t know about Sofar Sounds, it’s an organisation that puts on gigs in 331 cities around the world.
What is truly special about Sofar is that each live show is an intimate affair and the line-up and location is not revealed to the audience until the last minute.
Sofar Sounds has created a global community for artists and audiences to come together in unique and welcoming spaces.
With an added element of surprise, their shows are an opportunity to share, discover, create, and hopefully make new friends or find their new favourite band.
Over the years, Sofar Sounds has had some big names play their gigs, such as Wolf Alice, Lianne La Havas, Aurora and many more, all before they hit the big time.
So, when we got the call from the top dogs at Sofar Sounds to put together a show, the entire team was very excited
It took place at London’s Postal Museum, which is a really interesting place at the best of times.
But, for one night only, it was turned into a stunning live venue which showcased three terrific acts.
Below you can see videos of the three acts who performed at our show – we really like them and think you will too.
SPIDER (formally known as JENN)
Kicking off the night, we had the exciting and new Irish artist, SPIDER.
The hypnotising Brighton-based artist, Caitlin Moss, was our second act of the night.
The final act of the night was the talented alt-pop trio, Lycio, from Birmingham.
The Sofar Sounds x LOCK collaboration was a huge success and we can’t wait to see how SPIDER, Caitlin Moss and Lycio progress in the future.
