The up and coming 21-year-old songwriter Jess Yaffa has shared her latest tune, ‘Run Away’.
It’s a fun pop-rock track with an upbeat and uplifting sound.
The New York-based artist has previously released an EP in 2019 entitled ‘Intro’ and worked with award-winning producer Scott Jacoby on the EP and her latest track, ‘Run Away’.
Her artistic vision is to make music that showcases a spectrum of human emotions such as love, hope, change, heartbreak and more.
Speaking about the track, Yaffa says: “‘Run Away’ is a rock influenced pop anthem about turning the tables in a relationship. It highlights young love as something that is first idealized and desired and progresses into a feel good, strong melody that ends with a feeling of power and toughness. It’s about changing perspectives and coming into your own in the world of love and valuing what you want as your own person.”
