Indie-pop artist, IVI, has released her new single ‘Stars’. The Brighton based singer’s latest single incorporates shimmering guitar riffs with dance inspired synth hooks.
Inspired by nineties and noughties dance and pop music and artists like HAIM, The 1975, Fleetwood Mac, these influences have culminated in ‘Stars’. Lyrically the song explores feelings of lust.
IVI had this to say about ‘Stars’ in her latest press release…
“It was one of those moments when the lyrics kind of just happened. These words just came out, and the song was finished in a night. When moving to the arrangement, I wanted something euphoric but with a sensual feel, which is why the instrumentation works so well together.”
IVI has previously been featured on ITV’s This Morning and BBC Introducing.
