Hastings-based artist Alice Rowe recently attended the London art exhibition ‘Alice in Wonderland – Curious & Curiouser’ and came away inspired by the idea of a young woman trapped in the confusing world and also the idea of the characters from the original story representing different mental health diagnoses. As a result, she wrote ‘As It Seems’ a bluesy and soulful indie-R&B track about breaking out other’s expectations.
