Rising US artist Heddy Edwards returns with her latest single ‘The other side of town’, a bold and atmospheric release taken from her forthcoming debut EP ‘The other side of hell is a heaven so delicate’.
Written entirely by Edwards, the track was produced and mixed by Alan Day (Four Year Strong), with Edwards co-producing and Jay Maas handling mastering. Recorded at Day’s home studio in Massachusetts, the song forms part of an intensive creative period that saw the EP come together in just nine days.
Blending grunge-inspired alternative rock with chamber pop and cinematic textures, ‘The other side of town’ stands out for its layered, shifting sound. The track’s structure moves between tonal centres, creating an unsettled, immersive feel that mirrors its narrative.
