Armenian-born singer-songwriter GOHAR has unveiled her latest single, ‘Fairy’, a deeply personal release that continues her exploration of identity, memory and self-discovery through an eclectic blend of alternative pop, R&B and Armenian folk influences.

Built around understated production, layered harmonies and journal-like lyricism, ‘Fairy’ reflects on reconnecting with forgotten parts of oneself rather than escaping reality. For GOHAR, the song’s central figure represents the memories, dreams and experiences that can become buried over time, offering a thoughtful meditation on healing and personal growth.

The release further highlights the distinctive path she has taken as an artist. After training as an opera singer at Salzburg’s prestigious Mozarteum University, she stepped away from the classical world to pursue her own songwriting and production, developing a sound that combines technical precision with contemporary influences and elements of her Armenian heritage.

With this new release, GOHAR continues to establish a musical identity that prioritises emotional honesty over convention, adding another intimate chapter to her evolving catalogue.
