Rising independent band Get Good have officially stepped onto the scene with the release of their debut single ‘Vellichor’, a heartfelt and carefully crafted first statement from the emerging trio.
The band’s origins are as modern as they are organic. Members Sturge, Joe, and Sadie first connected through online gaming, shared life experiences, and a mutual love of music that quickly evolved into a creative partnership. For their first release, the band headed to Mustard Studios on the Isle of Wight, where the track was produced by Guy Page.
Influenced by artists such as Tellison, Caracara, and White Lies, ‘Vellichor’ blends emotional resonance with a polished indie sound. At its core, the song celebrates trust, connection, and the comfort found in people who accept each other’s differences and strengths.
Entirely self-managed and proudly independent, Get Good view ‘Vellichor’ as the first step in what promises to be an exciting musical journey.
