After making a solid first impression with her captivating debut album ‘The Sargasso Season’ in 2022, Canadian orchestral folk musician Erica Dee Mah is now returning to her vibrant ways with the tranquil new single ‘The Garden’.
Expected to feature on her new EP ‘Paper Wealth’, which is due out on the 8th May, Erica wrote ‘The Garden’ as a tribute to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Vancouver’s Chinatown. Channelling more of that warm and effervescent quality her first full-length brought to the world, this new offering finds her in renewed spirits as she delivers one of her more illuminating offerings to date.
While ‘The Sargasso Season’ certainly got her distinctive sound out in the world, ‘The Garden’ sees her build upon those glorious foundation with style and finesse.
