Dallas rapper Era 51 continues to build momentum with the release of her latest single ‘Cool Girl’, a laid-back track that highlights her understated delivery and distinctive approach to contemporary hip-hop.
Drawing inspiration from artists including Erykah Badu and Mac Miller, Era 51 blends soulful influences with a modern perspective, creating a sound that feels relaxed, confident and refreshingly unforced. ‘Cool Girl’ embraces that simplicity, allowing her mellow vocal style to remain the focal point throughout.
Recorded at Alpha Omega Recording Studios in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, the session was overseen by respected producer Ty Macklin, whose previous work includes collaborations with Erykah Badu. Macklin has become a key creative partner for Era 51 and is currently executive producing her forthcoming album, bringing his experience to the project while helping shape her evolving artistic direction.
