Originally featuring on the band’s 1992 self-titled debut LP, Edie Yvonne has rebranded its iconic pop groove for a modern ear. Keeping much of the same flair and swaggering flow as the original and combining it with her progressive aesthetic throughout, she returns with a truly captivating new offering here.
Things have certainly been busy for her since she first emerged, but covers like these really highlight her dexterity right now. Honouring the original but still adding something new and inventive to it, Edie Yvonne is quickly becoming one of the more exciting names on the rise right now.
