Congolese-Danish singer Anaïs releases the sultry new single “For The Night”. Written about one last night with a significant other before cutting them off for good, the track is a statement of desire. Quite simply hitting it before quitting it, “For The Night” sees Anaïs’ incredibly smooth vocals declare that the end is nigh.
“The song is about realising the person you’ve been dating for some time doesn’t really love you like they claim to do,” explains Anaïs. “‘You say you love me but you don’t, no. You say you need me but you won’t stay’. This person will proclaim their love to you but never show it through their actions. This person say they want you in their life, but also doesn’t seem to want to commit to you.”
