Capturing more of that warm and rustic folk-pop aesthetic she has been earning a reputation for lately, ‘Running On Empty’ finds her in one of her more emotive guises to date. With her sombre vocals gliding across a sweet, acoustic-led production throughout, she is seeing out this era within her sound with sheer beauty and restraint.
