Fresh off a whirlwind start to the year year that saw them release their widely acclaimed debut album, win Best New Artist at the Music Week Women In Music Awards 2025, a MOBO Award for Best Alternative Act and make their debut appearance on Later… With Jools Hollland, Nottingham duo ALT BLK ERA return with the electrifying new single, ‘Okay (Cyber Racing)’, released via LAB Records.

The track arrives mid-way through their EU and UK tour with Pendulum, capturing the high-octane dancable energy that flavours the bands live shows. As producers, songwriters, and creative directors of their project, the pair have built a reputation for the unique sonic approach sound that blending elements rock, EDM, rap, alt-pop, and metal into a distinctive and powerful mix which shines through on the new single as bright as ever whilst leaning further into the EDM-Pop elements of their sound. ‘Okay (Cyber Racing)’ combines glitch-driven beats, surging production, and thick, distorted bass to create an evocative, energetic and danceable track that balances raw intensity with polished production and addictive melodic hooks.

Beyond their sound, the duo are known for championing accessibility and inclusion in the music industry. Nyrobi, who lives with ME/CFS, is working with BBC Introducing to create safer backstage spaces for artists with hidden disabilities, a mission that reflects the emotional core of Rave Immortal.

ALT BLK ERA have earned widespread recognition across the UK press, the pair have performed live sessions on BBC Radio 1 and appeared at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, and Download Festival to name a few. Currently touring with Pendulum across Europe and the UK, the new single comes as the duo continue to build on the already boiling 2025 momentum.
