North London’s finest soulful singer-songwriter Sans Soucis has shared the visuals for her recent single ‘Make One From A Two’, and we’re lucky to be able to share it with you before anyone else.
‘Make One From A Two’ visualises the search of finding your most authentic self. Sans Soucis challenges self-discovery by exploring the ideas of gender outside of existing societal norms and constructs. It’s a lesson in learning to love yourself and letting other people love you for who you are. Featuring soothing harmonies and with hints of jazz glistening throughout, the track showcases the depths of Sans Soucis as a truly evocative artist.
Telling LOCK about the video, Sans Soucis stated that “a plurality of characters present themselves to the audience in a bold statement of freedom. A fluid personality, navigating the complexity of being in the face of judgement, is what Sans Soucis embraces with her music and visuals. Her artistic expression flourishes in communion with the direction of Luca Perrin and styling by the very talented Quinton Faulkner. The music video of ‘Make One From A Two’ is an introspective journey in search for clarity. be compassionate, question, love and be loved, in the space you’ve created to nurture your most authentic self.”
It’s a great watch and an insight into the mind of such a wonderful artist. Calming and peaceful, ‘Make One From A Two’ is a true delight to the eyes. Check out our review of Sans Soucis’ Unfinished EP here.
