Brighton born musician Chxrlotte, has released the shadowy new single ‘Don’t Save Me’.
Combing dramatic melodies, dark electronic rhythms and candid lyricism, ‘Don’t Save Me’ is her follow up release to 2019 single ‘Gloomy June’.
Speaking about the single, Chxrlotte says: “It’s kind of that feeling of being so depressed that you’re not even yourself anymore. I used the analogy of it feeling almost like a demon had possessed me in the song to try and capture that. It’s about being in a really bad place mentally and feeling totally out of control”.
The 22 year singer-songwriter first gained public attention after writing a song about the TV series Good Omens. The track which is titled ‘Come With Me’ has gained over 300,000 streams on Spotify to date.
