A BRITISH singer-songwriter who explores a variety of genres through her music will release her reflective new single tomorrow.
Alice Rowe, who has previously been celebrated by the likes of Radio 1Xtra and BBC Introducing, is about to drop her third output, ‘Do You Feel Me’.
The smooth-sounding track, which features the mesmerising vocal heard on her first two releases, is filled with an abundance of old school riffs and soul and pop traits.
Lyrically, the new single sees Alice gracefully narrate a tale of conflict and confusion as atmospheric strings build.
Throughout, she bravely confronts a feeling of being trapped in her own mind, which is only further exasperated by the realities of a life in lockdown.
As the title suggests, the song is about being in a relationship over which doubts are cast given the lack of true understanding between the two parties.
Speaking about the track Alice said: “This song is about two souls with very different ideas.”
’Do You Feel Me’ will be available from tomorrow, May 22, on digital platforms.
