AN alternative pop singer has released her new single, and it’s a lo-fi musical dream drenched in synths.
Fxrroh, from Chicago, has dropped her latest track ‘In Bloom’, flowing a plethora of previously successful releases.
Serving even more twisted and mellow euphoria, ‘In Bloom’ sees the songwriter deliver an entirely fresh take on downtempo synth-pop.
Drawing on unfamiliar sounds, varying vocal and electronic effects, and intentional dissonance, the single uses oscillating synths to create masterful strokes of dark electronics.
The overall atmosphere of the track remains light throughout, which helps to trap you in a dream-like trance.
Balanced and underpinned by a slow R&B beat, Fxrroh’s ethereal misty vocals allow the listener to go on a visceral journey.
Speaking about the release Fxrroh said: “In Bloom is all about opening yourself up both mentally and physically – being comfortable with yourself is so important these days.
“I’m free to be both poised and sexually liberated which is such an empowering thing.”
