Renowned musician and star of Netflix’s wrestling comedy GLOW, Kate Nash, has recently unveiled her lead single from her forthcoming new album Yesterday Was Forever.
‘Life In Pink’ is a an upbeat four minute track with bubble-gum-pop hooks. Although the track has a seemingly cheery vibe to it, the song’s lyricism and accompanying video tackle Kate’s battle with mental health.
Kate was successful in raising funds to make the Yesterday Was Forever record by launching a Kickstarter last year. Speaking about the new album in a press release, Kate outlines her hopes for the record. “I want people to have fun listening to this album, and to become comfortable with who they are. I know that so many people aren’t.”
Last year also saw the ‘Foundations’ singer embark on a massive UK tour in celebration of her debut album Made Of Bricks, for it’s ten year anniversary. Having spent time paving a successful television and film career by acting in Netflix’s GLOW and appearing in various films, Kate will finally release her fourth studio album later this month.
Kate Nash’s new album Yesterday Was Forever will be released on the 30th March.
