Swedish musician, Alice Boman, released her new single today. ‘Heartbeat’ offers up three minutes and forty-five seconds of pure serenity. Alice’s captivating vocals are complimented by the track’s subtle piano playing and psychedelic-esque sounds.
Ever since releasing her debut EP, Skisser (2013) , Alice Boman has been championed by the likes of The New York Times and The Guardian. The music video for her latest track ‘Heartbreak’, was shot in Joshua Tree California.
Alice had this to say about the song in her latest press release…
“I wrote this song on a summer’s day in Stockholm. The song is special to me, but I always want people to make their own interpretations of what songs are about, to let them be what they want them to be. That’s the magic.”
Directed by Julia Ringdahl, the video shows Alice Boman on location in Joshua Tree.
